The libraryʼs founder and primary stakeholder is the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The library is led by its Director, Emilija Banionytė. The library has 4 structural units: Department of Strategic Development for Regional Libraries, the Information Resources Department, the Readers Services Department and the Material Resources Department.
